I had idea of something I would like to introduce. We will see if I add this to the blog as another category…or not.
Let me explain my attempt. The brilliant idea was…what if I go through my catalog of photos on my hard drive and find something that is, for all intent and purposes, trash. A mess. Not really usable. Then see if I can make something out of it as opposed to throwing it to my trash bin.
For the first installment of From Mess to Masterpiece? I ran across this photos. It is one from the trip my Sweet Hubby and I took last December. We went on a wonderful cruise out of Galveston and after returning, drove around the island snapping photos. No, I mean REALLY driving around and snapping. In other words, not taking time to stop the car and get out (in most cases), but rather I would snap as he drove.
Such as the case for this drive-by shooting. It is an old church that is out of focus, not composed very well and one that I was about to throw to the trash bin. (This is straight-out-of-camera with absolutely no adjustments of any kind.) Let’s see if anything can be made of it.
Be sure and come back tomorrow to see if it still needs a trip to the trash bin or if in fact, it can become a masterpiece. I’ll let you decide!
